Budget-Friendly Easter Decor Craft Idea

You are here: Home / Spring/Easter / Budget-Friendly Easter Decor Craft Idea

Hello Sweet Friends,
Today’s DIY idea is an Easter decor craft featuring a thrifted frame and a free printable. When I found a beautiful Lenox frame for a good price at a resale shop, I bought it. At the time, I had no idea what I would use it for, but I knew that I would come up with an idea.

Fast forward to springtime, and I decided to create an Easter decor piece using the frame. It is such an easy idea that I almost hesitate to call it a craft. But it turned out so CUTE, I just had to share it! I hope you like it as much as I do. Follow along for the supply list and easy instructions.

Supply list

  • 5 x 7 Lenox frame
  • Easter printable
  • scissors
  • small embellishment
  • glue gun

The frame was just so pretty that I didn’t feel like any updates were necessary. So I left it as-is.

The FREE printable was from the Graphics Fairy website. I had to scroll about halfway down to find this printable. There are lots of other free images on that page.

After printing the Easter bunny image, I cut it down to fit the frame.

Then I opened the back of the frame, centered the image, securing it with a small piece of tape, and closed the frame again. EASY-PEASY!

How cute is little project so far? VERY cute!

All that was left to do was to embellish the frame a little bit. I had a few embellishments already in my craft stash and just attached them with hot glue.

How stinking CUTE! Am I right?

I hope this Easter decor craft idea inspires you to create something similar for your home.
Until next time…… Happy Crafting!

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
