Hello Sweet Friends,
I have the cutest craft idea for you today using a Dollar Tree arch frame. This semi-spooky little idea is perfect for this time of year and is so EASY to make.
Whether you decorate your home for Halloween or just the fall season in general, this little project will add a nice touch. Sit it on a shelf, windowsill, or in a tray; add some fall leaves and a pumpkin and BAM, you have a super cute fall vignette!
I’m sharing a supply list and instructions below. Follow along to see how easy this craft idea really is.
Supplies needed
- Dollar Tree arch frame
- book pages
- Mod Podge
- Moon ornament, made from a wood circle ornament and printable
- fall embellishments
- glue gun

Besides using as a frame for a favorite photo, these Dollar Tree frames are great to use for many different craft projects. I’ve seen several ghost craft ideas with them, so I decided to use it for a fall/halloween idea, but with a moon instead.
To begin this project, I removed the back of the frame. After setting aside the glass/plexiglass and sample photo, I used the backer board for the first step.

Using torn paper pages from an old goodwill book, I Mod Podged directly onto the cardboard back. Once the Mod Podge dried, I trimmed off any excess paper.

Then I assembled the frame back together, leaving off the glass.
Finishing the Dollar Tree Arch Frame
I did not get any photos of the next step, but I will try to explain as best I can. To make the vintage moon, I used a round wood ornament blank and printed a vintage moon onto some paper. Vintage moon image found here or there are other options on the Graphics Fairy website.
The paper moon was then Mod Podged onto the round wood blank. And then it was hot glued in the center of the arch frame. A few fall embellishments were also glued to the bottom of the frame.
And LOOK how cute this turned out! And so EASY to create!

Seriously, didn’t this turn out super CUTE?

I hope you enjoyed this little crafty idea and it will inspire you to create somehting similar for your home this fall season.
Until next time…….. Happy crafting!
Pamela
