DIY Faux Fur Wreath

You are here: Home / Budget-Friendly / DIY Faux Fur Wreath

Hello Friends,

****Updated with new photos
I’ve got the EASIEST faux fur wreath DIY craft you will ever find. And best of all, excluding the embellishment, you can find the supplies at the Dollar Tree!

I hope you’re dreaming of a White Christmas, because this little wreath fits the bill perfectly! Follow along and see just how EASY it is to create!

Items needed for faux fur wreath

  • white faux fur muffler from Dollar Tree (I’d call it an infinity scarf)
  • 9.8 in wreath form from Dollar Tree
  • embellishment of your choice
  • ribbon (optional)
  • glue gun

After removing any tags from the wreath and muffler/scarf, spread out the scarf on a flat surface with the inside lining showing as much as possible and begin to place the wreath form inside.

Keep pulling the muffler/scarf around the wreath until it is completely encircled. See picture below.

Begin gluing the scarf to the wreath, snug but not overly tight. Continue gluing around the entire wreath. This will be the back of your wreath.

Turn the wreath over and fluff or smooth where necessary.

BOOM! The wreath part if finished!

Almost there! Time to jazz it up a bit. Just glue your choice of embellishment to the wreath. I used a white velvet poinsettia and white berries. Find DIY instructions for the velvet poinsettia here. Add a ribbon to hang the wreath with, if desired.

I really LOVE how this wreath turned out! It was so EASY, too. I wasn’t exaggerating when I said it was the easiest faux fur wreath you will ever create, was I?

I hope I’ve inspired you to create one for this holiday season.

Christmas Blessings to you!

Happy Crafting!

Pamela

I created a newer version of this craft and wanted to share my photos here. Enjoy!

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
