Hello Sweet Friends,
I have an easy and super CUTE craft idea for you today; a pumpkin created from Dollar Tree metal ribbon. I found the ribbon at my local Dollar Tree recently, but initially could not decide what I was going to use it for. Since fall is fast approaching, I thought this little pumpkin craft would be the perfect idea. I hope you like it as well as I do!
Follow along and I’ll show you just how easy it is to create.
Supply list
- one roll of Dollar Tree metal ribbon
- one small drawer knob
- embellishments (optional)
- brown stain or paint
- glue gun
- small wire (optional)
Begin this craft by cutting the metal ribbon into three equal lengths. This roll of metal ribbon is 4 1/2 feet long; so three pieces of ribbon at 18 inches each works exactly.
Loop a length of metal ribbon into a circle and glue or attach with wire. Continue with each piece criss-crossing them into a sphere. Glue all together or secure with wire.
Glue a decorative drawer pull on top as a “stem”.
Using brown paint or stain, lightly brush the metal ribbon for a rustic look.
When the paint/stain has dried, glue embellishments of your choice.
Ain’t this the cutest PUMPKIN in the patch???
I am SO pleased with how this little project turned out. And it was so EASY! I hope you like it too.
I hope you’re inspired to create a pumpkin from decorative metal ribbon. It’s such a budget-friendly craft, you can’t go wrong!
