DIY Paper Rose Wreath

You are here: Home / Floral Crafts / DIY Paper Rose Wreath

Hello Sweet Friends,
Today’s craft idea is a paper rose wreath. You may remember a previous post where I showed you how to create beautiful roses using paper cupcake liners: https://craftsysoul.com/diy-paper-cupcake-liner-rose/ Now I am going to show you one way to get creative with these paper roses.

Using a small Dollar Tree willow wreath and some cupcake liner roses, I will show you how to make a super EASY rose wreath. Add a few more embellishments and you’ll have yourself a beautiful wreath.

Follow along for supply list and simple instructions to make this beautiful paper rose wreath..

Supply list for paper rose wreath

  • cupcake liner roses (I used nine for this project)
  • small wreath from Dollar Tree
  • ribbon, leaves, other embellishments of your choice
  • glue gun

Using my glue gun, I began gluing the roses onto the wreath. I placed them close enough together so the wreath would not show through, but not enough to squish the roses.

The wreath and the roses were nearly the same color, so if the wreath showed through, it did not really matter. I ended up using nine cupcake liner roses, but more may be needed depending on the size of the wreath used.

I decided to cut some leaves out of matching paper. I just pinched the base of the rose together before gluing to the wreath. The leaves were placed coming out from the base of each rose.

After adding a simple ribbon to the top of the wreath, it was finished! How EASY was that?

I’m so happy with how this turned out that I am sharing a few more photos of this beautiful paper rose wreath.

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
