Hello Sweet Friends,
Have you ever seen those big beautiful all poinsettia wreaths and really wanted one but didn’t want to pay the price? Me, too! I’ve seen them for $25 up to $69. Yikes! I knew I could create one for a lot less; Dollar Tree to the rescue. This DIY wreath was created with about $8 worth of supplies, all from the Dollar Tree. Follow along and see how easy it is to create!
Supplies needed for poinsettia wreath
- willow wreath, 12” diameter
- 7 bushes/bundles red velvet poinsettias (6 blooms per bush)
- glue gun, scissors
Begin by removing the poinsettia blooms from the stems and discard the stems.
Add glue to the base of each poinsettia bloom and glue directly to the wreath.
Use the best looking blooms where they will be the most visible on the wreath.
If some of the blooms look a little smashed, glue them on the sides where they will not be seen as much.
Repeat with each bundle of poinsettias; continue gluing blooms around the wreath.
By the fourth or fifth bunch of poinsettias, the wreath is really starting to have a nice shape.
I am so please with how this wreath looks! And all for $8! I hope I’ve given you some inspiration to create one for your home. It was so quick and easy and I think it looks as good as those more expensive wreaths. Why don’t you give it a try?
