Hello Beautiful Souls,
Today I’m sharing instructions on how to create your very own pumpkin centerpiece from artificial flowers, pumpkins, berries, leaves, and anything else you would like to add. The centerpiece will look great on your table this fall and will be the perfect centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. So follow along with me and we’ll get started.
Items needed for DIY Pumpkin Centerpiece
- small plate or other container
- block of floral foam
- assorted pumpkins
- assorted fall leaves
- assorted berries, wheat, and other accessories
- wirecutters
- glue gun
I began the pumpkin centerpiece by gluing the block of foam to the plate and then gluing the largest pumpkin onto the top of the foam. I got the small plate and block of foam from Dollar Tree. The pumpkins were from Walmart.
The next step was to add fall leaves at the base. I used some flat stems of individually wired fall leaves, cutting them into smaller pieces before adding them to the foam. I placed them in an elongated shape along the perimeter of the foam. I found these leaf stems at Dollar Tree.
I then filled in with more fall leaves. I separated into individual stems and placed them around the pumpkin and tried to fill in as much as possible to cover the floral foam. These leaves were also from Dollar Tree.
The next stems added were mini pomegranate stems (at least that’s what I think they were). I found these also at the Dollar Tree. Again I cut them into individual stems and mixed them in as evenly as possible amongst the leaves.
Smaller pumpkins were next to add. I glued the pumpkins onto leftover stem pieces before using them.
Then added the mini pumpkins to the centerpiece.
I continued the same process with each items that I added to the centerpiece. Next were some mums.
Then wheat and corn shucks were added. I found these at Walmart.
And finally added some bittersweet.
I’m just loving this centerpiece. So beautiful and elegant for a Thanksgiving table.
How GORGEOUS is this? I hope I’ve inspired you to get creative and make one for yourself.
Would you use this for your Thanksgiving table?
