Hello Fall Friends,
I have a Dollar Tree Fall Wreath DIY for you today that you’re gonna LOVE! It’s easy to create and will be the perfect accent piece for any other FALL decor in your home.
Ever since I saw the stems of faux silver dollar eucalyptus at Dollar Tree, I knew I wanted to make a wreath with them. They come in a few different fall colors and they are beautiful.
Follow along as I show you how to easily create this beautiful wreath. I hope you like it as much as I do!
Supply list
- Dollar Tree willow wreath
- 6 stems of Dollar Tree faux silver dollar eucalyptus
- 2 stems of Dollar Tree faux bittersweet
- wire cutters
- ribbon
- scissors
- glue gun
As you can see, I chose the golden/rust-colored stems. Aren’t they pretty?
Using wire cutters, I separated each stem into 3-4 shorter individual stems. So I had approximately 15-18 separate pieces.
The next step was to glue each of the smaller stems into the wreath. I used hot glue and made sure to place the end of the stems in between the pieces of willow, so the end was hidden. I kept working my way around the wreath, glueing one stem at a time, all stems going the same direction.
As you can see in the above picture, the wreath is already taking shape. At this point, I had used two of the silver dollar eucalyptus stems. I just kept going until I had filled in the entire wreath.
At this point, I thought the willow wreath was showing through the leaves a little too much. So I snipped a few of the individual leaves and glued them directly onto the wreath in those spots.
All that was left to do was to add a bow to the wreath. I tied a simple bow and added a little raffia, attaching it to the top of the wreath. And the wreath was finished!
LOOK how beautiful the wreath turned out!
Oops! I forgot to add that I glued in a few piece of faux bittersweet to the wreath before I added the bow. How beautiful it LOOKS on my weathered ladder.
I hope you are inspired and will give this DIY idea a try. It truly is a very easy and budget-friendly project.
Until next time…..
Happy Fall!
And
Happy Crafting!
