Hello Sweet Friends,
I have the PERFECT craft project idea for that snowy winter day; a faux fur wreath. I found faux fur mufflers at the Dollar Tree during the winter season and knew they would be just perfect for a wreath idea I had. The wreath form I got was from the Dollar Tree, too. So, minus the cost of ribbon or embellishments this craft idea will cost you a whopping $2.00. You just cannot BEAT that! (Of course, once they raise the price of everything at Dollar Tree to $1.25, I’ll have to redo the math) Follow along and see just how easy it is!
Supplies needed for faux fur wreath
- wreath form
- faux fur muffler (more like an infinity scarf if you ask me, muffler sounds British to me)
- ribbon and embellishment, optional
- glue gun
Begin this project by fitting/wrapping the wreath form with the faux fur muffler.
Keep going until the entire wreath is “inside” of the muffler.
Then begin glueing the faux fur to the wreath.
Keep glueing all of the way around the wreath until the faux fur completely covers the wreath.
Turn the wreath over to the other side. This will be the front of the wreath.
Add ribbon and embellishment. I got my ribbon and sparkly button from Walmart.
I could not be happier with how this wreath turned out! And it was SO easy!!
I hope I’ve inspired you to create one for yourself this winter season!
Stay Warm and
Happy Crafting!
