EASY Pedestal Dish DIY

You are here: Home / Budget-Friendly / EASY Pedestal Dish DIY

Hello Sweet Friends,
For today’s DIY, I am sharing a project that is the EASIEST by far that I have ever shared; a DIY pedestal dish. And best of all, the supplies were all from the Dollar Tree. This project is quick, easy, and budget-friendly; the trifecta of craft projects.

I believe you will find that this DIY is something that you will be able to you year-round in your home, for all seasons, and for many uses. So without any delay, let’s get into it.

Supplies list

  • DT white plate
  • DT white candle holder
  • E-6000 glue

Yes, three items is all you need for this DIY.

Let’s get started

Start by flipping the plate over.

Then apply the E6000 glue to the top edge of the candleholder. Use a liberal amount for extra security.

Then flip the candleholder over and place it onto the back of the plate in the center. Wait a few hours or overnight for it to dry.

Completed DIY Pedestal Dish

Once the glue has dried, flip the plate back over and you’re finished! How EASY was that? And look how cute it turned out!

Didn’t I tell you this was the easiest DIY I have ever shared? And it is so USEFUL!

Use it for cookies or a small cake. Display a candle or other decor on it. Maybe use it for a candy dish. The sky is the limit for ideas. What would you use it for?

Doesn’t it look fantastic with this Oui jar DIY displayed on it? Find the Oui jar project here.

Or how about with some faux candy canes?

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
