Hello Friends,
Never have enough time for crafting? Today’s craft idea features a sweet little bird’s nest in a frame and it only takes about ten minutes to create! Gather up your crafting supplies, follow along, and you’ll have a framed bird’s nest finished LICKETY-SPLIT!
Supply list
- 4 X 4 Dollar Tree frame
- scrapbook paper
- Spanish moss
- 3 mini eggs
- scissors
- glue gun
Remove the back and glass from the frame. Set glass aside or discard.
Cut a square from the scrapbook paper to fit the frame, using the paper insert from the frame as a template/pattern. You could also use a book page, sheet music, or any other decorative paper to fill the frame.
Insert the paper in the frame and replace the back.
Create a nest with a small amount of Spanish moss. Glue the nest and three eggs in the middle of the frame. (The eggs are from Amazon)
And VOILA! Ten minutes later you have a beautiful framed bird’s nest. Such a sweet touch of SPRING to add to your home decor. Perfect for a shelf, windowsill, tray; even a cloche.
I think this turned out SO CUTE! I’m not sure where I’ll display it in my home. Where would you display it?
I hope I’ve inspired you to create something similar to add to your home decor.
