Hello Sweet Friends,
I was at a Buc-ee’s recently (a large travel center) and found this SUPER cute sign that I knew would be perfect for my coffee/cocoa bar this Christmas. But if you have followed me for very long, you know I couldn’t leave well enough alone and had to add a little bit of “craftsy soul” to the sign. So for today’s DIY, I will show you how to dress up a cocoa bar sign.
The supply list is short, and it’s a quick and EASY project, so follow along as I show you how.
Supply list
- red velvet wired ribbon
- piece of wire or twine to tie the bow with
- small pieces of holly, evergreen, or other faux greenery
- red berries
- button
- scissors
- glue gun
I don’t know about you, but to me, red velvet ribbon just screams CHRISTMAS. So for the first step, I made a two-loop bow out of red velvet; and tied it together in the center with a piece of wire. Then I cut off the excess and glued to the top of the sign.
After cutting small pieces of the Christmas foliages, they were glued around the bow is a pleasing manner.
Then to finish the look, red berries were glued around the bow; and a white button glued in the center.
The dressed up Cocoa Bar Sign
It’s amazing how such a little touch can totally transform a piece! Didn’t this turn out super CUTE?
And here’s a look at the cocoa bar sign displayed in my coffee/cocoa bar. I’m just LOVING how it looks! Do you decorate your coffee/cocoa bar for the holiday season?

I hope you enjoyed this sweet little idea and are able to use it in your home decor in some way. You may already have a sign that just needs a little embellishment. Just go for it and dress it up a bit!
Until next time……. Happy Crafting!
