Six Thanksgiving Craft Ideas

You are here: Home / Autumn / Six Thanksgiving Craft Ideas

Hello Sweet Friends,

Thanksgiving will soon be here, and often, it’s a holiday where food is the focus rather than decor. Well, I’m here to say it doesn’t have to be expensive to make a few decor pieces for this holiday, and I’ve rounded up my favorite DIYs to share with you; six Thanksgiving craft ideas. And I’ll let you in on a secret, most of them are created with Dollar Tree supplies.

The Thanksgiving craft ideas that I’m about to share with you are in no particular order.

Let’s Get Started

  1. The first craft idea that I am sharing is a pumpkin centerpiece made from Dollar Tree supplies. Of course, you could use this centerpiece all during the fall season, but I think it’s especially suitable for a Thanksgiving table. Doesn’t it LOOK beautiful in the photo below?

2. The second Thanksgiving craft idea that I am sharing is a turkey craft made with Dollar Tree supplies. I just LOVE this little craft idea! Gobble, gobble!

3. The third Thanksgiving craft idea that I have for you is one of my first blog posts; a no-sew placemat pillow. Of course, this DIY idea is not strictly a Thanksgiving idea, but since I used a Thanksgiving placemat, I thought it suitable to include in this list.

4. For the fourth Thanksgiving craft idea, I am sharing a DIY pumpkin pie garland. This was such a FUN little craft to create with a minimal amount of supplies. It’s as easy as pie to make.

5. The fifth Thanksgiving craft idea is a makeover idea entitled, Let’s Makeover Some Thanksgiving Pilgrims. Don’t you just love a good makeover project?

6. The sixth and final Thanksgiving craft idea is Fall Crafting with Window Clings. In this post, I took a page of Dollar Tree window clings and created several decor pieces. One of them in pictured below.

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
