Bunny Floral Arrangement on Pedestal

You are here: Home / Floral Crafts / Bunny Floral Arrangement on Pedestal

Hello Sweet Friends,
With Easter fast approaching, I am sharing another Easter/Spring DIY craft idea; a bunny floral arrangement on a pedestal which features one of those flocked bunnies from Walmart. I’ve also seen bunnies like these at Michael’s and other craft stores. They come in a variety of colors and are so CUTE, in my humble opinion.

Since I have a background in florals (I worked as a florist for many years), I wanted to share an idea for a good Easter centerpiece. The florals I used were mainly from Walmart and Dollar Tree. I hope you like this project as much as I do. Read on for the supply list and instructions to make your own.

Supply list

  • flocked bunny from Walmart (Amazon affiliate link for similar bunny)
  • thrifted candleholder
  • block of floral foam
  • assorted faux florals and greenery
  • ribbon
  • glue gun
  • wire cutters
  • scissors

The first step in creating this Easter centerpiece was to glue a block of floral foam to the top of the candleholder. And then glue the bunny onto the foam. See above and below.

Beginning with the largest floral blooms, I separated each stem with wire cutters, and placed into the floral foam. Since I wanted this to be seen from all sides, I put the flowers all around the bunny.

Next, I moved onto the smaller filler flowers. Again, I separated each stem from the bundle and added on all sides of the arrangement.

I also began adding some stems of faux greenery on all sides of the arrangement.

To finish the arrangement, I added a bow with ribbon streamers at the base. It is very slightly visible on the finished arrangement.

Final touches on the bunny floral arrangement

LOOK how beautiful this bunny floral arrangement turned out? WOWZA! So cute! I just LOVE all of the mixed spring flowers together.

If you choose to create something like this for your home, you can use any color flowers or bunny. And any size bunny or candlestick could be used. Just get creative and make it match your decor.

I hope this tutorial has inspired you to make something pretty for you home. Until next time…..

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
