Hello Friends!
I’ve got another easy budget-friendly Easter DIY for you today. I know you’ll want to make one. So, gather up your supplies, plug in your glue gun, and follow along.
Items you will need for your Easter egg topiary
- Dollar Tree hanging Easter egg sign
- small terra cotta pot with piece of floral foam
- four wooden skewers or one sturdy dowel rod
- ribbon
- small florals, optional
- moss or burlap pieces
- glue gun and scissors
I started my topiary tree by cutting the eggs off of the Dollar Tree sign: I saved the little Easter bunny piece for another project.
After I put a small piece of floral foam in the terra cotta pot, I added two skewers side by side in the middle. Then I hot glued the first two eggs onto the skewers in a whimsical manner, think Dr. Seuss. Afterwards, I hot glued the last two skewers to add height for the final two eggs.
And here it is with the final two eggs attached.
I then tied four small simple bows, one for each egg.
I glued a bow to the top of each egg and then added some florals and some frayed pieces of burlap to the base to cover the foam. (I wanted to use moss at the base, but I improvised with what I had available)
I love how this Easter egg topiary looks! It literally took about ten minutes to make and it’s budget-friendly too.
What do you think of this easy craft? I hope I’ve inspired you to make one for your home.
Happy Crafting!
