Super-Easy Pom-Pom Garland for St. Pat’s Day

You are here: Home / Budget-Friendly / Super-Easy Pom-Pom Garland for St. Pat’s Day

I made this simple little pom-pom garland for St. Patrick’s Day, but it could easily be adjusted for any holiday or everyday use, just by changing the color. It is quick and easy using only two items and a glue gun.

Items needed for this craft project

  • Dollar Tree twine (it comes three to a pack)
  • small pom-poms from Walmart (I found these on clearance – Yay!)
  • glue gun

I didn’t get a lot of pictures of this because it’s just SO easy. I just glued a pom-pom approximately every three inches along a length of the twine. I just eyeballed it without measuring and used all 24 pom-poms in the package. The finished garland measures about six feet. The total time was probably less than ten minutes, and total cost was less than $1.00. Woo-hoo! I just love a good budget-friendly craft.

You can display the garland with another garland or just by itself. So easy and super cute! The pom-poms come in many different colors, so I think I’ll be making more of these for other holidays. I hope I’ve inspired you to give this little garland a try.

Happy Crafting!

Meet Pamela, the Creator

Pamela, Creator

Born and raised in rural, Missouri, I'm a wife of 30 years and mother to one adult son.

My interest in all things artsy-craftsy began as a young girl. If there was a craft kit for it, I've probably tried it: paint-by-number, latch-hooking rugs, candle-making, shrinky-dinks, string-art, etc. I loved them all! For many years I was able to express my creativity on-the-job as a florist, and love using silk florals in my home decorating projects.

I'm excited to share my crafting and home decorating ideas with you. I like finding that perfect thrift store item and crafting something new out of it, or giving that old piece of furniture a new life with a fresh coat of paint. I hope my projects will inspire you to get craftsy and create things to help decorate a home you love.

Happy Crafting!
