Hello sweet friends,
For today’s craft idea, I will be showing you how to decoupage eggs with napkins. This is the perfect craft idea for Easter and beyond. In my opinion, these charming little eggs can be on display for the entire spring season.
The napkins that are used for this craft are a blue and white chinoiserie pattern. If you have been following me for long, you may remember a rabbit craft in another post in which I used the same napkins. But any pretty paper napkin will do.
Follow along for a supply list and simple instructions for this craft.
Supply list for Decoupage Eggs
- white faux eggs
- paper napkins with a pretty pattern
- Mod Podge
- small brush
- scissors

I found this Easter egg coloring kit at Dollar General, but any white eggs will work. You could even use colored eggs and paint them with white paint. The napkins were from Amazon and I’m sharing my affiliate link for those who are interested.
The first step is to separate the top layer of the napkin; then cut it into small pieces. At this point you will be ready to start applying the napkin pieces to the eggs.

Piece by piece, add the napkin pieces to one side of an egg with Mod Podge. Also top with a coat of Mod Podge. Repeat with all the eggs and allow to dry. I used the tray that the eggs came in to let the eggs dry.

Look how beautiful the eggs already are!!!

When the eggs have dried, repeat the entire process for the other side of the eggs. Allow to dry.

Now wasn’t that simple? The hardest part for me was waiting for the Mod Podge to dry. Here’s a few pictures of the finished eggs.

Wowza! So beautiful!

I hope this charming little craft has inspired you to create something pretty for your home.
Until next time……..
Happy Crafting!
Pamela
